The South Carolina Department of Commerce had determined that the look, feel and engagement level of their SC Just Right website (part of a marketing campaign that seeks to influence tourism, and direct foreign investment by multinational corporations into the state) was flat. They felt that it didn’t reflect the vibrancy, compelling stories, and inviting nature of South Carolina as a place to live, work and play.
Period Three helped the SC Just Right team determine a new digital strategy, that focussed heavily on the user experience (UX), while still providing support to all stakeholders both inside and outside of the organization. We architected how a user might discover the site, then read about others stories on living, working, and playing in South Carolina, then contribute their own stories, building a stronger content acquisition, presentation, and distribution cycle.
This new digital strategy, with a UX focus, became the basis of the website that Period Three then built for SC Just Right.
