The Whiteout at Clingman's Dome
Three of us drove up to the highest point in the Smokies in October, expecting clear October foliage. We got a foot of snow and thirty feet of visibility instead. Someone dropped their keys in the parking lot; we found them by their black plastic sticking up out of the drift like a periscope. Ask us about it sometime.
